The walls will be part of the EA&amp;ER exhibition.  The workshop was intitally inspired by Judy Chicago's 1970 wall building workshop at the Feminist Art Program at Fresno State College (now California State University, Fresno).  It's all about artist empowerment, folks. The week will also feature performances and other exciting events.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Exquisite Acts &amp; Everyday Rebellions Symposium&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Saturday March 10, 2007&lt;br /&gt;12 PM - 7:30 PM&lt;br /&gt;&lt;i&gt;The symposium will feature three panel discussions addressing the strategies and contexts of contemporary feminist art practice.  Current panelists include: Mary Kelly, Faith Wilding, Martha Rosler, Andrea Bowers, Dorit Cypis, Emily Roysdon, and Connie Butler.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Other events/workshops include: theater performances, performance art, film screenings, readings, consciousness-raising sessions, feminist wall-building workshop, and a visiting artist lecture series.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now that the blog is up and running, be sure to check back frequently for updates.  We'll be posting announcements, interesting links and ideas that cross our path, and topics for discussion.
